Neat Interactive Map with Timeline

http://www.nationalgeographic.com/seamonsters/timeline/index.html#triassic

This map shows where prehistoric aquatic dinosaurs would have been found based on fossil records.  The user can explore the site using the timeline or by clicking on the continents.  The location of each species is depicted by an orange circle with a plus sign.  A window pops up with a description and an image of the dinosaur.  After a dinosaur has been viewed the circle turns brown, so that the user knows what he/she has already looked at.  I chose this map because I like the topic and found it user friendly and aesthetically pleasing.  Also, the rotating images are really cool.
